We recently completed a comprehensive fitout for Digi-Steel, a leading digital steel provider that automates and optimises production flow for steel processors worldwide. This six-week project aimed to transform their office interior, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics. Our team worked diligently to ensure that the new design met Digi-Steel’s specific needs, creating a modern and efficient workspace that reflects their innovative spirit. The ground and first floor together totalled 500m², providing ample space for the new layout.
The fitout included the creation of various breakout spaces, kitchenettes, and meeting rooms. These areas were designed to foster collaboration and provide employees with comfortable spaces to relax and recharge. The breakout spaces are equipped with contemporary furniture and vibrant décor, encouraging informal meetings and breaking away from the desk. The use of vibrant colours drenched the space, from the acoustics to the carpet and furniture, creating a lively atmosphere. The inclusion of numerous plants throughout the interior softened the harder elements which created a more welcoming environment.
We installed 56 formal desks across the office, ensuring ample workspace for the team. Acoustic divisions were used to separate workspaces and breakout areas, enhancing both privacy and focus. Whiteboards were added for brainstorming sessions, and each floor now features two new meeting rooms equipped to host team meetings and Digi-Steels clients.
The meeting rooms were a key focus of the project, designed to facilitate both internal and client meetings. Each room is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including video conferencing capabilities and interactive displays, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. The design also incorporates soundproofing elements to provide a quiet and private environment, essential for productive discussions. TVs were placed on mobile stands for portability, allowing flexibility in their use.
Overall, the new office interior has significantly improved the work environment for DigiSteel. The new spaces have not only enhanced functionality but also created a more inviting and energising atmosphere. The strategic use of vibrant colours throughout the office has been particularly effective, adding a dynamic touch to the workspace and fostering a positive and productive environment for all employees.
